The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the mouldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.
My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the mouldering Past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast,
And the days are dark and dreary.
Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
Its been raining on and off all day and has made me quite the lazy person. I did enjoy spending my morning at the neighboring towns flea market, and i found a few trinkets to add to my growing collection of "stuff"
I found a beautiful hand carved cradle that was a steal for 20$ amongst a few antiques to add to my china curio. i bought the movie "eragon" and "poseidon" on DVD, so atr least i will have something to do tonight.
i got to talk to my baby for 2 whole minutes before he had to get off the phone, so in all i guess it has been a pretty good day. i feel a little better and im no longer trying to hack a lung up from dripping sinus' i think ill get a slice of my fresh baked apple pie smothered in lite whip cream and pile up on the couch to enjoy my movies.
ive been thinking of babies names and havent had any luck, i like moira, and breana and sorcha. but i have yet to find something that goes along with any of them. so ideas are welcomed if you have any.
may you all enjoy the rest of your weekend, as i know i will mine.
love and laughter to you all
